Neurodivergent voices shape our priorities, our language, and how we measure success.
About Us
Space for Neurodiversity exists to make the space sector's culture, hiring, and workplace practices genuinely work for neurodivergent people — not as an afterthought, but as a deliberate, evidence-led priority.
One in eight people are estimated to be neurodivergent, yet the space sector — like most of STEM — has been slow to adapt its recruitment, management, and workplace design around that reality. We work directly with organisations, research institutions, and innovators across the space ecosystem to close that gap: building inclusive practices, sharing research, and creating space for neurodivergent talent to do their best work.
Neurodivergent thinkers bring pattern recognition, deep focus, systems thinking, and novel problem-solving — traits the space sector depends on. But without inclusive recruitment and workplace design, that talent is too often filtered out before it ever gets the chance to contribute. Closing that gap is both the right thing to do and a practical advantage for organisations navigating increasingly complex challenges.
Neurodivergent voices shape our priorities, our language, and how we measure success.
We ground advocacy and training in research, not assumptions — and we publish what we learn.
Real change needs agencies, employers, researchers, and educators working from the same playbook.
We're building out a public advisory network of neurodivergent professionals, researchers, and allies across the space sector.
Space for Neurodiversity works alongside a wider group of space-sector initiatives focused on sustainable, responsible growth — including digital transformation, communications, capability building, and sector events.
